It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Grant Snyder, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the age of 70.
Beloved husband, friend and soulmate of Sandy (nee: Lippert) for 49 years.
Loving Dad of Kelly, Mark and Maria.
Cherished Grampa to Luka and Eleni.
Survived by his brother Lynn Snyder and brother-in-law of Ron (Diane), Janet, Ken (Janice), Barry (Peggy), Murray (Cathy), Mary, Larry (Debbie), Grant (Mary Jane).
Predeceased by his parents Walter and Adeline Snyder, in-laws Clinton and Marie Lippert and brothers-in-law Terry and John.
Fun loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Grant enjoyed his work at the Region for 32 years. He was a lifelong member at Calvary Memorial United Church, where he held many active roles within the church. Grant loved travelling, reading and spending his days out in the sun.
Grant's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held at Calvary Memorial United Church (91 Gruhn St., Kitchener) on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
Reception in church hall to follow.
A private family interment will take place.
