April 20, 1944 - August 27, 2017
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Brian Winkler, on Sunday, August 27th, 2017 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 73.
Beloved husband and best friend of Beverley (nee: Noll).
Loving dad to Pete and Mark.
Cherished Grampa to Alliyah and Madelyn.
Survived by his siblings Sandra Mayer of Great Barrington, MA, twin brother Bruce and his wife Pat and brothers-in-law Murray Noll and Harry Cameron.
Predeceased by his parents Philip and Viola, father and mother-in-law William and Virginia Noll, sister Joyce Mary Cameron (2006) and brother-in-law George Edward Mayer (2014).
He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Brian was a devoted employee for over 30 years at Lear Kitchener, where he worked as the manager of product engineering.
A special heartfelt thank you to all the staff and healthcare providers who have provided care and support to Brian during his battle with cancer.
Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Rockway Golf Course (625 Rockway Dr, Kitchener) from 2-5 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Innisfree House (www.lisaardhouse.com) or Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) would be appreciated by the family.
