Kunkel, Edward Joseph
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Joy (2005). Loving father of Doug (predeceased - 2017), Mike (Kim), Kathy, Vicky and Robert (Heather Graham). Proud Grandpa of Jonathan, Lisa, Jennifer, D.J., Dale, Tyler and several great-grandchildren. Son of the late Ralph and Monica Kunkel.
Ed's family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017 and from 3:00-3:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Private Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
