Passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Friday, September 8, 2017 at The Westmount Long-Term Care Residence at the age of 87 after a short illness.

Well loved husband of the late Betty Ann (Saunders) for over 54 years.
Proud father of children Sharon (Ron) Martin, Steven (Rita), Stuart (Sigrid) and Scott (Leanne) who predeceased him in June 2017.
Loving grandfather to Robyn (Maurits), Ryan (Leanne), Jessica, Ashley, Tyanna (Jordan) and Brittany (Kyle). Great grandfather to Mikaela, Nathan, Ben, Will, Axel and Alina.
Cherished friend of Lydia Winterstein. Son of Paul and Annie Golebioski (deceased).
He is survived by his sister Doreen (Wayne deceased) Lang, brother-in-law, Gordon Clements and sister-in-law Doreen Saunders.

Predeceased by siblings Mary (Vic), John (Ilona, Marion), Adeline, Joyce (Joe), Lillian (Ted), Leonard and in-laws Theda (Tom) Mitchell, Phyllis (Don) Riehl and Ronald Saunders.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Ed was born in Tyndall, Manitoba and moved to Kitchener in 1951 where he met Betty Ann. After a career at Electrohome, he went full time into his TV servicing business which became Gibson Sound & Vision, operating that along with Betty Ann and his sons eventually for many years. He was still present in the office until he was nearly 85.

Edward's family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
Reception will be held at the funeral home, following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Westmount Long-Term Care Facility would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
Special thanks to the many nurses, PSWs and staff who cared tenderly for dad in his last days.
