It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Herbert Wilms on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of Anita Wilms.
Loving step-father to Richard Engelhard.
Cherished brother of Gerda Kruze.
Will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends.
Herbert's family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 14th, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Tributes to take place at 7:00 pm. Private cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
