Mattes, Luise:

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 15th, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 81.
Beloved wife of Willibald Mattes.
Loving mother of Joe (Nancy) Mattes and Martin (Evelyn) Mattes.
Cherished Oma of Megan, Sam, Mercedes (Jesse) Kroisenbrunner, and Jeremy.
Fondly remembered by her sister, Gertrud (the late Hans) Birle, and her two nephews, Hansi and Roger.
Will be greatly missed by her many friends, and extended family in Germany.

Luise's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am - 10:45 am on Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral liturgy will be held in the chapel immediately following visitation. Reception to follow. Cremation to take place.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at St. Mary's Hospital - Intensive Care Unit.
