Obituary for James Douglas Fendley

James Douglas Fendley
Fendley, Jim

With profound sadness on Saturday, September 16, 2017 while in Toronto General Hospital at the age of 62 Jim unexpectedly passed away.
Loving and devoted husband of Brenda Fendley for 22 years. Proud and loving father of Cody Fendley (Jocelyn Bovay), Shaelyn Fendley, and Adam Fendley. Jim will be missed and remembered by his mother-in-law Joyce Brookes and sister-in-law Tina Bussieres.
Dear grandfather of Lillie, Jaelyn, Niahlah and Michael.
Predeceased by his dad Peter and his mom Violet.
He is survived by his brothers Bob (Paula), Kenny, Keith (Deb), Tim, Bill (Robin), Jeff and sister Linda Fendley-Coull (Paul). Jim will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Jim was known and loved by many...from the neighbors who knew him as the "dog man" for his nightly walks with his buddy Jasper to his home depot family who called him "Jimmy". Jim was very proud of the work he did and always spoke fondly about the friends he worked with. Jim worshiped and lived for his family ...he will be forever in our hearts.
Jim's life will be celebrated from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Individual stories and memories can be shared at 3:30
p.m. on Sunday. Private cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Toronto General Hospital Foundation - MSICU or the Education Fund for Shaelyn Fendley would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
