Condolence From: Susan Simpson
Condolence: My sincere sympathy goes out to all of Daphne Reid’s family. Daphne holds a special place in my family’s history as she was the flower girl at my parents’ wedding in 1951. I have a picture of Daphne with my Mother Jessie and my Aunt Patricia from that day. It has been almost 30 years since I last saw Daphne at my Cousin Beverly’s wedding, but I remember her sweet smile and pleasant conversation from that special day.

I do hope that each family member’s fond memories of Daphne helps to bring comfort during this very sad time.

Condolence: I want to express my sincere condolences on the death of Daphne. I was shocked to see the obit in the paper. It brought back memories of Daphne as an RPN at Oshawa General Hospital. I had the pleasure of getting to know her when we worked on the maternity floor many many years ago. My sympathy goes out to all of Daphne's family. May she rest in peace.

Daphne and I were best friends in the 60's and 70's, and the memories we have of our time together in our youth group in Oshawa, will always remain.
