It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Nathan Roth announces his passing after an accident took his life while paddleboarding on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. He was 29 years old.
Nathan will be forever remembered by his wife Kristy, parents Dennis & Lori Roth, sister Emily Roth (Geoff Lay). Nathan will also be lovingly remembered by Kristy’s parents Guy and Debbie Guthrie and brother Robert Guthrie (Pat Fell).
A celebration of Nathan’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church in Waterloo with Pastor Paul McIlwraith officiating. Friends and family are invited for a visitation on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519-749-8467).
In memory of Nathan, friends and family are establishing an award in his name at Queen’s University School of Medicine. Memorial contributions may be made through Queen’s University. Please direct your contributions to the Dr. Nathan Roth Memorial Award in memory of Dr. Nathan Roth. Make your cheque payable to “Queen’s University” with “Dr. Nathan Roth Memorial Award” listed on the memo line.
