Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the age of 72.
Beloved husband of Cidalia for 54 years.
Loving Daddy to the late Joey (1972), Filomena Morgado (Nelson), Susie Mayer (Mike) and Judy Furtado (Ronnie). Cherished Vovô to Ashley, Angelina, Austin, Nicholas, and Michael. Brother to Maria and the late Manuel. He will also be missed by his brother-in-law, Carlos (Lucia), and sisters-in-law, Almerinda, Leona and Alice (Jose).
Jose's family will receive relatives and friends from 2- 4 p.m. & 7- 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish Prayers 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church (29 Midland Dr. Kitchener) on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Reception in the Parish Life Center following the interment.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
