Wenzel, Pirjo "Rita" (nee Lahtinen)
Of Waterloo, Ontario, passed away peacefully in her 72nd year on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Innisfree House Hospice, Kitchener. Loved and adored by so many people, Rita will be sadly missed. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jim, daughter Laura (Trevor) sisters Susan (Mark) Adam, Tina Lahtinen, Penny (Garry) Nott and brother Michael (Heidi) Lahtinen. She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews Tyler, Cody, Jamie, Jeffery, Robyn, Kris and Katy. Rita's family warmly invite you to join with them in a Celebration of life Service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 544 Bridgeport Road, Kitchener on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2 p.m., a fellowship tea will follow. All are welcome. Private cremation taken place. Memorial donations in Rita's name in lieu of flowers may be made to Innisfree House, Kitchener or St. Paul's Lutheran Church (cards available at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467).
