Passed away peacefully at home with family by her side, on Friday, October 6th, 2017 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Jose. Loving mother of Grace (Domingos), the late Joe (Alice), Helen (Abby), Danny (Anna), and Dennis. Much loved grandma to Amy, Matthew, Adam, Mark, David, and Robert, and great grandma to Lillianna, Hunter, Kylie, Leandro, Sofia, and Migual. Dear sister of Helena Coelho, the late Manuel Lima. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family, many nieces and nephews.
Maria's family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers Wednesday 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 305 Laurentian Dr., Kitchener, on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary's Hospital - Cardiac Care Unit would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
