Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at People Care AR Goudie at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of 24 years to Mary Faith Franklin-Rennie.
Loving Dad to Caroline (Mike) Pattison and James (Kim) Rennie.
Cherished Grandpa to Natasha (Dustin), Jacob (Paige) and Owen.
Survived by sister Jessie of Scotland.
He will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland, as well as by his special cousin Mary T. and his extended family and friends.
Jim will be remembered for his love of laughter, golf and spending time with his family and friends.
Many happy days were spent at Fisherman's Cove, enjoying his pipe and a 'wee' scotch.
Jim's family will receive relatives and friends from 2- 4 p.m. & 7- 9 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held at Highland Baptist Church (135 Highland Rd. W. Kitchener) on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
