Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday, October 23rd, 2017 at Grand River Hospital in his 86th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of Evelyn for 65 years. Survived by sister Diane Robbins (Dave). Loving Dad to Sharon (Gary) Szymkowski and Bruce (Wendy). Cherished Grandpa to Wayne (Miya) Szymkowski, Melissa (Shawn Brent) Szymkowski, James (Kerranne) Mansz, Jennifer Mansz. and Helen Alvero. Great-grandpa to Lilianna and Eva.
Cremation to take place.
Edward's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27th, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 247 Westmount Road E. Kitchener, on Saturday, October 28th, 2017. Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at the church. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
