Condolence: A flood of warm memories drown the sorrow I had reading about John’s passing. I loved this man. John was always thoughtful, compassion, welcoming, funny, reflective and insightful (I can even find it in my heart to excuse him cheering for the Habs). The Lumby clan are dear to the Rouse family; you collectively gave us so much support & love after my mom died – and there are no accounting principles which can be applied to properly tally the debt other than these words of gratitude which somehow fall well short. I’m a better person because John invited me into his big heart; how do you pay that back?
