Faessler, Rosemarie:
In the caring presence of Marcia and Tanya, Rosemarie died peacefully at home on February 20, 2018 in her 75th year.
Rosemarie immigrated from Switzerland in 1952 and lived in the New Hamburg and Kitchener area all her life. Rosemarie's working career was spent as a dedicated and loyal employee of Mutual Life/Clarica for 40 years. She served on the company's Staff Association Committee in various capacities, including President. Rosemarie was previously active in sports; loved travelling; cards and having her family and friends around her.
Rosemarie is survived by her partner and best friend, Marcia Good and her daughter,Tanya; brother Eric (Helga) and nine nieces and nephews - Terri (Kevin), Jeff (Sue), Michelle, Bridget (Jeff), Shyanne (John), Cindy (David), David (Nicole), Daniel (Jackie) and Bradley (Heather).
Prededceased by an infant sister Christel (1940); mother, Elsa (1995); father, Albert (1998); sister Monica (2005) and brother-in-law Dave (2015).
Relatives and friends will be received at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519-749-8467) on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and Monday, February 26, 2018 from 10-10:45 a.m. with the services to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. A reception will be held at the funeral home. Interment Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg, Private Cremation has taken place.
Rosemarie has requested donations to Jumpstart (helps underprivledged children in many sports activities) in lieu of flowers,
