Passed away peacefully at home, after a short battle with cancer, on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the age of 86. Son of the late Gordon and Ann Stringer. Loving brother of the late Wally Stringer and Shirley Mansfield. Dear uncle of Linda, Bruce, Jim and Jack Mansfield and Cameron Stringer. Great-uncle of David Mansfield.
Rick's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Private cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
