Golden, Garnet:
It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Garnet on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the age of 65.
Survived by his soulmate, best friend and love of his life, Patricia.
Loving father of Jennifer and Calvin Cress, Judy and Darin Finlayson, and Joe Golden.
Cherished grandpa of Jacob, Cassandra, Aiden, Olivia, and Alex.
Survived by his mother-in-law Mary (Nana).
Will be greatly missed and remembered by his extended family and friends.
Garnet will be remembered most by the love he had for his family, his sense of humour and his love of music.
Garnet's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A service will be held in the chapel immediately following visitation at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Private cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
