Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the age of 76.
Beloved wife to Dieter for 55 years.
Loving Mama to Charlotte (John Champion) and Robert (Shannon).
Cherished Oma to Amy, Jeremy (Shannon), Joel, Eva, Taite and Tia and Great-Oma to Serena and Jacob.
Dear sister to Helmut (Sharon) of Hanover, Ontario.
Predeceased by her brother Gerhard.
She will also be missed by her remaining family in Germany.
Brunhilde was born in Germany on June 6, 1941 and she emigrated to Canada in 1965. The two places you would find her were in the kitchen and in the garden. She was known by her friends and neighbors for all her cakes and cookies. She was also an accomplished seamstress. Brunhilde dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed having her husband, children and grandchildren around her, they were the light of her life.
Brunhilde's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue again on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 12-12:45 p.m. A service will take place in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery following the service. Reception back at the funeral home following interment.
