Passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the age of 60. Beloved son of Joyce and the late Gordon Smith. Loving father of Jessica Smith and Sheila Bauman (Chris). "Papa Mike" of Evan and Carley Bauman. Dear brother of Deborah Dentinger (David) and uncle of Kelsey and Jace. Fondly remembered by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Michael's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 and 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday January 13, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
