Stephenson, David C.
Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Mary Ann for 43 years. Loving father of Warren (Julia) and Patrick (Shannon). Proud Grandpa of Lincoln and Alice. Predeceased by his parents George and Beatrice Stephenson. Dear brother of Dereck (Diane), Mavis (Brian), Douglas, Kevin, Colleen and Mary-Lou. Son-in-law of Wilbert and the late Therese Sommers, and brother-in-law of Patricia (John), Helen, Bill (Christine), Paul and Jeff (Robin). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Dave was a teacher and consultant with the Waterloo District School Board. Following this, he worked with OTIP until his retirement. In addition to his generous spirit, he was known for a great sense of humour, his love of a good deal, and always could be found talking to a new friend. Dave loved to travel and enjoyed many trips abroad.
