The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Horton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: No words can express the sadness I feel knowing that Bob has left this world. Heaven truly gained an amazing Angel. Bob was one of the first people I met when I started going to my church. He was a genuinely kind man who would make anyone feel welcome. One of our favorite topics to talk about was our love for horses and I will so miss those chats. Until we meet again my friend. Condolences to the family.

Condolence: When I first met Bob a number of years ago he seemed very quiet and stayed to himself. But it wasn’t long after we became friends, it seemed easy as Bob was an easy going guy. We had many long talks together and always sat together for the monthly men’s breakfast meetings. We would always shake hands when we met and even a hug or two. Then the jabs would happen and we’d end up having a good laugh out of it. I’m going to miss Bob and his big friendly smile.
