The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Trudy Beaulne can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Rachel Goddyn

Trudy and I met in 1986 at the Rotary Children's Centre where our sons where having speech therapy. There was an immediate connection and we were soon spending days together playing with our little ones and talking about everything and anything. I was living in a small apartment, had a son newly diagnosed with a significant disability and was far from family. Trudy opened her home and heart to me and my children. I really needed a loving, understanding friend, and Trudy was all that and more. It was a sad parting when I left KW soon after Rebecca and Laura were born, but we kept in touch with periodic phone calls. There were times when I needed Trudy's intelligence, insight and compassion. Trudy walked the walk every single day. The world is a better place because she was here.
