Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Hehn) for over 69 years. Loving father of Pennylynn (William Beggs), Kenneth Jr., Randall, Grant (Lynn), Cheryl (Eric Braithwaite) and Gregory (Anne). Proud Grandpa of many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters Dorothy (Fred Delong), Rita (late Harvey Mueller) and Norma (Jim Moore). Predeceased by sisters Catherine (Clarke Dettweiler) and Wilma (Carl Keller, Noah Heintz) and brothers Carl, Norbert, Harold and Milton. Survived by sister-in-law Marjorie Kuhn (Milton). Also brother-in-law to his wife Evelyn’s siblings: Helen (Norman deceased), Joseph (Shirley), Margaret Ann, Henry, Keith (Mary Ann deceased) Clifford deceased (Cleo), Audrey and Leo deceased.
Ken's family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Private family interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
