Smith, Stephen Boyd:
Passed away after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness, on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 56. Beloved husband and best friend of Mandy. Loving father of Melanie, Jennifer, Deanna, and Mackenzie. Dear son of Allan and Jean Renee Smith, and brother of Mike, Jeannine, and Sean. He will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and the Charlton family.
Steve's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30 p.m.-3:15 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 where a celebration of his life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Renal Program or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
