Dimitroff, David:
Passed away suddenly, at his home as the result of a heart attack, on Monday January 15th, 2018 at the age of 55.
Beloved son of Connie and the late Roy Dimitroff. Loving brother of Janice (Dale) Kuntz and Jim (Carolin) Dimitroff. Cherished uncle of Katie. His kindness will be remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.
Dave worked for many years as an electrical control system designer for various companies in Waterloo Region. He took pride in his education and as a lifelong learner, he had attended the Universities of Guelph and Waterloo and Conestoga College. He was an avid reader and fisherman, and he spent many hours with his fishing buddies in the lakes and rivers in Northern Ontario. Music also was important in his life as he enjoyed playing live music with friends in local venues and festivals.
David's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, on Sunday, January 21st, 2018 from 3-5pm and Monday January 22, 2018 from 10-10:45am. The Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am with a reception to follow. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Private Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
