October 17, 1941 - January 22, 2018
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, January 22, 2018 . Peter is survived by his wife of 55 years Josephine Theodora Schneider (nee Stefanchuk). Extremely proud father and grandfather of his eldest daughter Terri Ann Schneider of Kitchener, son Anthony Michael Schneider and partner Diane Marie Burella of Newmarket, and daughter Joanne Roberta Schneider and granddaughter Natasha Sophia Bruce of North York. He will be remembered by his sisters Annette Coombs and husband John, and Sheila McIntosh and husband Adam as well, his sister-in-law Mary Ann Duncan. He will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Peter enjoyed his work at Coca-Cola for many years, where he began driving trucks and later became plant manager.
Peter's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 for a Celebration of his Life on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Mary's Hospital Foundation - Cardiac Care, would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
