with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Harold at his home on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Rita for over 63 years. Loving father of David Gregory (Frances) and Dee Gregory-Nixon (Grant). Proud Papa of Ben and Steve Gregory, and Katherine and Jessica Nixon. Dear brother of Genevieve and the late Ken, Stan, Bob, Jack, Eldon, Emerson, Ross, Ruth, Violet, Beatrice, Thelma and Alma. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Harry was a kind, loving, devoted family man, who always looked out for the needs of others. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 60 years.
Harry's family will receive relatives and friends from 10-10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
