Walsh, Nanci (nee Forwell):
October 9, 1950 - February 3, 2018
It is with deep sadness that the family of Nanci Walsh announce her passing. Nanci passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener.
Predeceased by her loving father Donald L. Forwell (1999).
She is survived by her two loving children, daughter Tara (George) Kanellis and her son Craig Walsh (Laci Henning) and two of the most cherished grand daughters, Maria and Athena Kanellis.
Nanci was a treasured sister to her seven siblings; Marci (Curt) Krieger, Terri (Philippe) Kott, Donna (Mark) Edmeades, Louanne (Dick) Cooper, Jeff Forwell, Tom Forwell and Theo (Jennifer) Forwell along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Family always came first and Nanci loved them unconditionally, she was known by her seven siblings to have the best sense of humour of them all. Nanci was a great listener and she always treated people how she liked to be treated, with kindness. Her generosity and caring were common to her house mates in St Jacobs where she will also be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to the exceptionally caring staff at Grand River Hospital ICU.
A sudden illness has taken our Nanci from us, she is with Papa now and together they will watch over us.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
