Radu, Ecaterina:
Passed away at Freeport Hospital on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Tiberiu (1982). Loving mother of Dr. Ioan (John) Radu (Nora) and Viorica Iovanovici (Gicu). Much loved grandmother to Christian (Mary), Caius (Tesie), Laura (Hector) and great grandmother of Zachary, Sofia, Sydney, and Olivia. Predeceased by her sister Adriana Stoiciu. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Ecaterina's family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home at 8:30 pm Monday night. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John The Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church, Bleams Rd., Kitchener on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 10 am. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John The Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church, would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
