Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Sunnyside Home on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Kathe and the late Else (2002). Loving father of Heidi Ellen (John), Bernie Pahl (Kathleen), Anita Pitschner (David) and step-father of Heidi Brennan (Patrick). Proud Opa of Sean (Krista), Natalie, Zackery, Samantha, Olivia, Emma, Joseph (Katie), Andrew, Angelica and great-grandfather of William, Sydney, Zoe and Cole.
Willy's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 and from 12-12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Gideons would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
