The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Willy Pahl can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Annamarie Petzold
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the family. I'm sad to hear of my uncle's passing. He was the last link to my father's family. He was a fun uncle when I knew him and I will always remember him fondly.

Condolence: He was the kindest most thoughtful man I have ever met. I was a first year teacher 29 years ago when I met Willy. I taught at Laurentian in the mornings and was assigned to another school in the afternoon. With no car for the first few months of school, Willy often drove me over the lunch hour to my other placement. I have never forgotten Willy and his warmheartedness.

Condolence: Uncle Willy was such a great person. The love of Christ shone through him ,in his everyday life. Kind, gentle,a great sense of humour and always smiling. I have so many great memories of him, especially of all the great times on the farm.He was always quick to serve others wherever he could. A true servant heart.

Condolence: Willy was such a wonderful, gentle man. He treated everybody with kindness. If he knew you were fighting a cold or sore throat he would leave a eucalyptus lozenge on your desk or give it to you personally and say "I fix you up!" As a custodian, he was one of the best! As a person, he was THE best!
