Hernandez Rick:
Rick died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 of heart complications at the age of 65. Rick leaves behind his loving wife and best friend Lynda and his treasured children Pam (Dave), Melissa (Travis), Josh (Kaley), Aaron (Rebecca), Ashley (Chris) and Amanda (Cam). He will be deeply missed by his parents Albert (Cheryl) and Ruth and siblings Patricia (Wayne), Melody (Randy), Barry (Kathy), Cheri and predeceased by Bryan (Sue). Rick was a proud Grandpa to Kyle, Michael, Ryan, Ethan, Lauren, Andrew and Alexandra.
Rick was an avid Nascar fan and loved camping with beloved friends at Pinehurst Trailer Park. He enjoyed the hot weather and was loving being recently retired from Convoy Supply Limited where he had many cherished friends. He found much joy in cruising around town in his corvette. We know that Rick would want us all to raise a glass to him and to remember the good times as he really was the heart of any gathering.
Rick’s family will receive relatives and friends at Henry Walser Funeral Home in Kitchener for a visitation on Friday, March 2nd from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A service will then be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home on Saturday, March 3rd at 11:00 a.m. followed by a private burial. Following the service family and friends are welcome to join and celebrate Rick’s life at the Edelweiss Tavern, 600 Doon Village Rd, Kitchener from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The family welcomes flowers to be sent directly to Henry Walser Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
