Condolence From: Norma Horton
Condolence: We were known as the "two Normas" ever since we met at Philpott Memorial Tabernacle at age 17. From that day onward we remained great pals, even after John and I moved to Nova Scotia seven years ago. This past December, when I was back in Waterloo for a visit, Norma and I had lunch and a meaningful "heart to heart" at the Sunshine Centre.....not knowing it would be our last meeting....nor that our subsequent telephone conversation just a few days before she passed away was actually a final good-bye. Norma was a beloved mother, a fashionable lady, and a model of Christian faith and dignity. My heart is sad to lose her, but happy that she has been spared the hardships so often encountered as we get old. Goodbye dear friend...I will miss you...but I smile to think how my dear hubby will welcome you so unexpectedly with open arms.
