Passed away at home on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the age of 38. Loving son of Margo McConnell (Mark) and Mike Staines. Dear brother of Bryan (Kaeleigh) and Alana (Stephen) and step-brother of Amanda. Father to Miss Oprah better known as Opi, and will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Josie Simonek. Much loved grandson to Nancy Peel, John and Sheryl Wherry and Audrey Boutilier. Proud uncle of Liam, London and Neveah. He is loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins and will also be fondly remembered by many friends. Predeceased by his father Mike Brown 'Brownie' (1994).
Michael’s family welcomes all to come and celebrate his life at The Edelweiss Tavern, 600 Doon Valley Rd., Kitchener, on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to K-W Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
