Gatchene, Robert Cavell:
Passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 74, after a long struggle with Multiple Systems Atrophy (MSA).
Beloved husband of 55 years to Shirley (nee: Tokarcyzk).
Dear father of the late Daniel (2017), Scott (Shelly), Robert Jr. (May) and Christopher.
Survived by his sister Dianne Hibbs.
Robert will be fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the nursing staff on floor 8C at Grand River Hospital for all their care and compassion given to Robert.
Robert's family will receive relatives and friends from 9-11:15 a.m. with prayers to be recited at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, followed by a procession to St. Teresa of Avila RC Church (44 Leonard St., Kitchener) for a Liturgy of the Word at 12 noon with Fr. Brendan McGrath officiating. Reception to follow in the parish hall.
