Anna Levato (nee Lagonia)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Mary's Hospital on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the age of 84. She joins her "Superfantastic" husband, Joe Levato in Heaven.
Her family was the centre of her life. Anna was a loving and devoted mother to Rita and husband John Villemaire, Joanne and husband James Dannemann, Christina and husband Tom Siegfried. She took great pride in her grandchildren and was a wonderful Nonni to Julia and Luke Villemaire, Joshua and Jessica Dannemann, Ella, Alexander, and Joseph Siegfried. Dear sister of Mario Lagonia, Victor Lagonia (Ida), Ofelia Vinante, Antonio Lagonia (Fiorella), Andrea Lagonia (Maria) and Luigi Lagonia (Marinella). Sister-in-law to Gina Levato, Roswitha Lagonia, Maria Mastrogiovanni (Pino) and Ninni Cimino (Jeso). Predeceased by her parents Carmine and Maria Lagonia, her brother Giovanni Lagonia, her father and mother-in-law Tommasino and Michelina Levato, her sisters-in-law and brothers-in law Teresa and Nick Zangari, Rosa Lagonia, Tony Levato and Italo Vinante. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
She was a beautiful, kind, loving soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. She took great pleasure in making people happy with her great sense of humour and delicious Italian meals.
She was a member of St. Anthony Daniel Church and the Italian Cortina Club of Kitchener.
The Levato family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. Anna's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Working Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
