Horvat, Ljuba:
Passed away peacefully at Innisfree House, Kitchener, on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Jure. Loving mother of Kathy Cavlovic and her husband Frank. Predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters. She is survived by her nieces, Katica Radisic of Kitchener, Anica Muc and Biserka Antic of Croatia, Kathy Menz, and Kathy Jovanovic of Australia. She will be fondly remembered by many family, and friends in Kitchener, Croatia and Australia and a special friend Darinka Miksic. Ljuba was a member of Holy Family Croatian Parish for many, many years. The family would like to thank the staff at Innisfree, and a special thank you to Katherine and Lois for all their care, compassion and support.
Ljuba's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. & 7- 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, Holy Rosary Wednesday at 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Croatian Church, 180 Schweitzer Street, Kitchener, on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Family Croatian Parish or to Innisfree House would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
