(November 17th, 1918 - April 19th, 2018)

Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care in her 100th year.

Beloved wife of the late Oscar Capling (1982).
Loving mother of Les (Nancy) Capling of Kitchener, Barry (Georgina) Capling of Wingham, Janice Benjafield of Kitchener, Karen (Ronald) Weir of Calgary, and Jim (Karla) Capling of Kitchener.
Cherished grandma of Brian, Doug, Chris, Steve, Crystal, David, Tiffany, Lisa, Joy, Mike, Jessica and Stephanie. Step-grandma of Melanie, Brandon, Chantell and the late Sandee.
Great-grandma of 19 great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Violet White and Mae (John) Bancroft. Sister-in-law of Elva Biehn,
Predeceased by her brother, Arthur Hanna. brothers-in-law, Donald White, Harold Hanna, Ira Capling, and sisters-in-law, Velma Capling, Ialeen Hanna, and Edith Hanna.

Iva was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church for over 70 years, serving with the Women's Missionary Society and the Women's Missionary Association. She was the last serving charter member of Group Eight.

Iva's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Thursday, April 26th, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church 54 Queen St. North Kitchener on Friday, April 27th, 2018 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment at Woodland Cemetery following the reception.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Music Fund of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
