Chemical mishap and others
Richard and I had a good laugh, along with Al and Inge, after Al told us about his mixing pool chemicals in the lower washroom of their Scarborough home. Unfortunately something went wrong and WHOOSH....need a new sink! Fortunately all the family got outside to avoid the chemical "cloud".
We also remember Al's tender side, which was not often displayed. He was overjoyed with the birth of each grandchild, and was very loving while holding them close to his chest.
Other memories include social times (coffee hours) at their homes, and going out for meals. We enjoyed a New Year's Eve celebration together in Conestoga one year, dining and dancing.
