Went Home to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 15, 2017, in Owen Sound, at the age of 83.
Beloved wife of the late Bill Weinstein (2013). Loved mother of Pennie (Jim) Wallace of Kemble (Owen Sound) and Rebekah Grace Snow of Calgary. Cherished grandmother of Melanie (Michael) Arruda of Port Colbourne, Bob Wallace of Kitchener and much loved great grandmother of Rori, Shelby and Colton Wallace. Dear sister of Thomas (Laura) Bennett and sister-in-law to Judy Bignell. Predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Ethel (Nicholls) Bignell, her brother William and sister Duveen (Romie) Carriere.
Grace was a longtime faithful member of the Church of the Holy Saviour Anglican Church where she was a member of Woman Alive. She was a chairman of the Christian Womans Club in Owen Sound and she volunteered with the Pastoral Team at Freeport Hospital for many years.
Grace's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Church of the Holy Saviour, 33 Allen St. E., Waterloo at 10:30 a.m. with The Venerable Dr. Neil Carver officiating. A reception will be held at the Church following the interment in Parkview Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Church of the Holy Saviour Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
