Passed away peacefully at Hilltop Manor on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Hilbert Carl Miller (1999). Loving mother of Peter and Patricia Miller, and Karen and Brian Harris. Proud Oma of Sherina, Caliesha, Steven, Tom (1994), John and Francis. Great grandmother of Emma and Chloe. Dear sister of the late Richard Daase, Helena Ott, Bertolt Daase, Wanda Jabs, Laura Wieser and Irena Krenz. She leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and their families in Canada, Germany and Austria. Special thanks to the staff at Hilltop Manor for their compassionate care.
Ilse's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017 and from 2-2:45 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday at 3 p.m. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation, McMaster Children's Hospital - NICU would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Ilse's memorial.
