Passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Chiu. Loving father of Layton. Dear brother of Heather Farwell (Ches) and the late Bill Bowie. Survived by his sister-in-law Patty Bowie (Hugh) and brother-in-law Robert Hu. Predeceased by his parents William and Girda Bowie. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Michael's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Threads of Life: Association for Workplace Tragedy Support would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Michael's memorial.
