Obituary for Fern Myrtle Elizabeth Ferguson

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital, at the age of 76 years.
Beloved wife of Brian Ferguson for 43 years.
Loving mother of Dan Nickel (Shelley), Jeremy and Shannon Ferguson (Jeff Goodreau).
Cherished grandma of Dane and Vanessa, Renee, Deserai, Tristan and Caleb.
Predeceased by her parents Norman and Florence Bast and her brother Glenn Bast (Betty).
Fern's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 2 - 3:15 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3:30 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Private cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre (cheques payable to Grand River Hospital Foundation) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
