Margie and family, I just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you. As you know, I had a great deal of respect for Ron. He was a great mentor to me when I started my career: smart, wise, insightful, and judicious. As I get older (approaching retirement now), I appreciate more fully his candor and directness. He had no patience for intellectual and personal posturing or shoddy thought. He was authentic in the best sense of that term. I missed him after he retired from the university. I am truly sorry for your loss. I have no doubt that he was a proud and wonderful father. Be well.
