Grandma and Grandpa

I will never forget my childhood growing up; I have such fond memories of spending many a summers up at the cottage with Grandma and Grandpa. I remember the bonfires, swimming, long walks, going to the beach, being treated to a round of mini put and ice cream. There was always a ray of things to do up there; my siblings and I often helped Grandma baking in the kitchen or you could find Grandpa tinkering in his shed with his carvings. I have fond memories of Grandpa explaining to me how he made some of them and the stories behind each one. We also went on adventures with Grandma to visit some of her friends up there for tea and cookies. Cindy and I were even lucky and treated with a doll to sit on our beds that Grandma had one of her friends make for us; the dresses were croched in our favourite colours. I will forever keep those memories in my heart; I know Grandma and Grandpa are watching over us in heaven. I will love you both forever and for always keeping your memories in my heart.
