Obituary for Mary Jane Seabrook (Otto)
Seabrook, Mary Jane (nee Otto):
Passed away peacefully with her husband and son by her side, on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 80. Mary Jane, beloved wife of Rodger for 47 years. Loving mother of Bill. Predeceased by her brother Bill Otto. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by the Otto family as well by Neale Schoenfeld (Daniela Bobsin) and his family. Mary Jane was a director of nursing at KW Hospital for 15 years. She was an avid knitter, knitting blankets, sweaters, and baby clothes. She also was a huge Blue Jays Fan.
Mary Jane's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 for a Memorial Service at 3:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Pancreatic Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). The family would like to thank all the staff on the 3rd floor at Freeport Hospital for all the care and compassion given to Mary Jane and the family.
