Obituary for Janet Anne Huston (Richardson)
Huston, Janet:
Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the age of 69
Beloved wife of the late Bruce Huston. Loving mother of Tanya Huston (Jeromy Kolke). Cherished Nana to Dylan Huston (Emily Flood). Treasured Great Nana to Scarlett Huston. Precious Aunt to Sandra Dee Richardson. Predeceased by her parents Anne and Leslie Richardson and brother Paul Richardson.
Janet will be sadly missed by her dear friend Lucy and co workers from Shayne's Hair Care where she worked as an avid hairdresser for over 40 years, her loyal costumers, neighbours, extended family and friends.
Janet and her family want to thank all of the wonderful staff and volunteers at Hospice Wellington who took such pride in providing exceptional care in keeping Janet comfortable.
Cremation has taken place.
Janet's family will receive relatives and friends from 2- 4 p.m. & 7- 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church (49 Blueridge Avenue Kitchener) on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
Reception to follow in the church hall.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
