Remembering your Dad

Dear David, James and Mark,

I don't believe I have ever met any of you, but I worked  with your father at Ledco in Kitchener from about 1964 till 1969. I was an 18 year old apprentice tool and die maker and since my workbench was right  next to his I learned a lot from him. He  was an avid reader of TIME magazine in those days and because of his interest in world affairs, I began to read it as well.

I am sorry for your loss and regret  that I will be in  Africa next week and unable to be at the visitation or funeral.

My wife and I had dinner with your mom and dad - perhaps seven or eight years ago.

May the peace and goodness of God be  upon  each one of you.
