The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jean Ward can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Kevin Schilling

With sadness in my heart I wish to offer sincere condolences on behalf of the Schilling family. Our mother, Mary Rose, my sister Karen, and brother Brad all knew her as Jean Godglick. Growing up as neighbours, close to her family home, on Woodhaven Road. Her brother Mark being my best friend. As I happened to be returning home to Kitchener for a family reunion, I was sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. As time goes by we sometimes lose touch with those we once knew. When something like this happens to one so young, we realize how short our time here really is. It seems like only yesterday when our families enjoyed the summer camping at Belwood Lake. To all generations of her family, old and new, may you be at peace in her memory, as Jean now rests in peace. She will not be forgotten.
